WiFi2HiFi

Stream all your computer’s music to your stereo system!
Works with: MAC OS X 10.6, Windows Vista, Windows 7
With WiFi2HiFi you can wirelessly stream music from your computer to your hi-fi and audio-dock, with the iPhone plugged into your hi-fi acting as an audio receiver.
Whether streaming services on your computer or songs on your hard drive they can all be enjoyed from the comfort of your couch. No additional hardware such as a multi room audio system is needed.

Features
  1. Use your preferred music program
You can wirelessly stream audio from the most popular music programs on your computer.
  2. multitasking enabled
Listen to your computer’s music library while selecting the songs with your preferred remote app
  3. stereo sound quality
The 3 second latency enhanced double buffering technology guarantees a crystal clear stereo experience.
  4. easy-to-use
Start streaming once you start the app. Your iPhone/iPod device is automatically detected.
  5. high reliability
High sound quality even on weak wireless networks
Cons
  1. The audio is slightly delayed making it not suitable for movie playing with remote speaker
  2. You cannot stream your desktop to mobile via 3G connection (Maybe it’s a feature to prevent you from over using the data?)
Overall, it’s a cheaper way then buying expensive HiFi that comes with WIFI streaming capabilities and able to clear some wires off your computer table. I can imagine using this if I have multiple speaker system connected to a centralized HiFi out of my room, maybe in the living room.
One recommendation that I can think of for the developers to consider is to add a remote music selection menu or at least a “next track” & “previous track” option, that is because if I want to remote play a music it makes more sense to have more control over the music I’m playing.
