1. Can quickly create professional looking comic strips easily using your everyday photographs!
2. Simple & user friendly user-interface making this a relatively hassle free story board or comic maker.

Cons

1. You cannot save your work in the application as page 1, page 2, page 3 hence cannot go back & edit old work after creating a new comic page making it hard to change your comic strip plots or make any amendments if you are planning to make a full comic book
2. There’s insufficient action icons to choose from, best if there’s a customizable action icons will be a nice update in the future.
3. Hmm no emotion icons?
4. Is there a way to share finished comic strips in a social way within the app, that means to see your friend’s comic strips if you follow that person like Instagram app and make it so that you can view a full comic book instead of a single photo
5. Any other way to make the photograph looks like comic, some other comic apps can do that but if can do it within this app will save the hassle to edit the photo in other apps first

Overall, this app does what it’s supposed to do and able to quickly whip out a nice page of comic strips as long you know your plot & have the right photographs but more can be improve on it.

Pros

1. Re-animate your friends’ photograph and share on facebook! You can make your friend dance & speak in high pitch voice! OMG! How fun is that?
2. So many features in a fun little app!

Cons

1. There are in-app purchase at $1.99 to get themes & the ability to share to facebook which is a bummer, very clever developer indeed!
2. The video recording is pretty short, you can’t make a long video enough to fully appreciate the result.
3. The Costumes are pretty scary! I don’t think any kids will love it but it will be a good way to scare people off!
4. There are no way to save the recorded video into the camera roll, that means no way to export it & merge into other videos in “picture in picture” mode.

Overall, this had probably beaten other “repeat me in high pitch with cute animation” application with all the cool features however it can be even more polished if they add in some less frightening costumes and extend the length of the video recorded.

PhotoFunia is an online photo editing tool that gives you a fun filled experience.

PhotoFunia uses proprietary technology automatically identifies the face in the photo and let’s you add cool photo effects and create funny face photo montages.

Pros

1. Simple and easy to use photograph editing tool to make fun of your friend’s photograph or surprise them
2. The effects are pulled from the website hence the app can be updated often with new effects.

Cons

1. The effects are not sorted in alphabetical order making it hard to find the effects you like quickly
2. You need 3G or WIFI connection to use the application which may happen anytime for people using iPodtouch or iPad WIFI without 3G connection
3. There are no rating system to rate the effects or bookmark the favorite ones

Overall I will still recommend people getting this application as it’s free on the appstore with advertisement.

Ideas on how you use this application

1. When you need a nightstand with your sleeping music and beautiful photos

3. When  you want to your photos and recap your past journeys or travels with your love ones
4. Make a collection of dancing people & a dance sound track and allow the slide show to follow the tempo of the song.
5. You just want to see a collection of nice photos while your iPhone or iPod Touch is charging on the docking bay

Whatever the uses, this appilication is simple enough to use and fast enough to generate really cool slide shows. I do initially question why the need to transfer music via WIFI instead of using the MP3 directly from the iPod Library but I found out that Apple have  restriction  due to copyright infringement problems hence does not allow that feature to be implemented.

The only competition this application have is the iPhone’s basic slide show feature (photo) which does not comes with only 5 types of transition effects and don’t come with music.

I feel that this application cleverly mimic the Apple macbook’s screensaver making it perfect for any mac fans to own.
